Writing

Writing to me is a very personal practice. Whether its writing in private diary or writing on a public platform where the material is freely available to thousands and hundreds of people, like the Internet, the whole writing process possesses a similar approach. Honestly, honesty is the ingredient most sought out in my personal writing endeavors. The written material just cannot be of any good if it isn’t honest. It would probably be just something put together to fill up some spatial needs.

For the Ones:

:Majority of life is meant to be spent with n00bs.

In those few years of ones prime, one finds a handful of those who are like the aforementioned one, the 1337’s. All such people know how really low in number they are around the world and know of the craving of the nubbins to reach the status that was gradually built by the ones. It wasn’t an overnight meme that just took off; it was years of hard work. The ones are ones who earned the position; they lived for it and by it for they were one of the few.

But the truth is that it really is a lonely world out for the ones. Yes, as retarded as it may seem, they category is so niche that I’m forced to pluralize a prime number to fit them in a category. Deep, very deep.

Being a part of them is a right for those like them. They read, they are state-of-the-art packages of everything that there is to know in their world. They may not be in the best of shape, but every job has its evils.

Today when I Google my name (yes, Lol), I am happy, but this happiness was earned by me, it didn’t give the same results back in 2001.

50 Days of Being Away

Travels of 2010

This year has been eventful in terms of leaving home. I’ve packed my bags and headed to the airport, packed it and headed to the railway station, packed my bags once again and headed to the bus station, packed it and even gotten into a car. A lot of packing of the same things, a lot of moving around and a lot of good memories stored in pictures and my mind.

So it went like this.

1. February – Shimla-Chandigarh (1 week)

2. April – Goa (1 week)

3. May – Kerala (2 weeks)

4. June – Pune (2 weeks)

5. September – Pune (again) (4 days)

6. September – Goa (again) (4 days)

7. December – Pune (and again) (expected 4 days)

And that brings me to a total of 50 days away from this city and away from my own bed.

Let’s see how 2011 goes.

To Crow

What is it about mankind that makes it irresistible to him or her to brag? Mind you that 90% of the bragging that one does, is about oneself. To think that one would be delicate in promoting him or herself is to think that it snows in the city of Mumbai, yes, by that it would mean that it would be a dim thought.

If someone were to make public something that they themselves have shaped that would be a fine expression of freedom on the part that person, but when the same person is repeatedly dallying around a room for days and weeks over the same expression, it begins to take the form of something far from an agreeable expression of freedom and undergoes a metamorphosis for the bad.

It’s kind of sad to see that happen, isn’t it? Well, to each, his own.

Moral: Do not crow of your own cock.
